Family Cooking Night – Learn to make Shakshuka!
Join online with Rabbi Cohen and we will make a Shakshuka dinner together! Shakshuka is a North African dish that is now made throughout the Middle East; it is especially popular in Israel. It combines tomatoes, eggs, feta, and spices for a delicious meal. It is easy to make and something that the whole family can be involved in.
You will need, 6 eggs, Olive oil, onion, garlic, bell pepper, 2 14 oz. cans of diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, sugar, feta cheese. Optional garnish: avocado, cilantro and/or parsley, toasted bread or pita for serving.
